Hello Lovelies…… Oh wait that’s Louises’ opening line 😉
Hey All, hope your all keeping well and there’s no sign of a wedache.
So thought I’d spend some time and bring you up to date on our wedding plans. Really I’m sat here on holidays while the hubby to be is making me watch a football match, I opted for the Rose of Tralee but he was having none of it 😂.
Alot has changed since my last post, remember the big Irish wedding I wanted in Westport, the manor house ceremony and guest list just short of 200… Well ya that’s all changed. I suppose I should listen to the advice we give all you B2B & G2B, we always say when you get engaged STOP & ENJOY this time. Don’t rush into booking anything just yet, decide what you both want.
That’s what we did, our time frame changed, our guest list got out of hand and we felt we were losing the meaning of the whole day. Fast forward a few months and we flipped that wedding cake upside down…
HELLO MARBELLA! Yes that’s right, I’ll say I Do by the Pool (Well on the beach but you get the picture).
A simplistic beach wedding with our closest friends and family. It’s perfect for us both, we love the sun, sand and sea (Well him more than me on the latter part, we’ll call that compromising 😁).
By going abroad we’ve taken controll of our guest list without offending anyone, we get much more than 1 day with our guests and we even manage to stay in a villa for a week.
Bar the change in venue and guest numbers nothing else has changed. I still have my wedding party, my amazing work wife Louise will officiate over the ceremony, my younger brother will stand best man for my H2B as he adores him… but now it feels like our day, or should I say week.
As we’re 12 months out plans will start to take off now so keep your eyes peeled for the finer details of our adventure to the isle.
